In an age of shallow soundbites and cultural confusion, the Christian mind is under siege—fragmented, dulled, and often disengaged. In Think Christianly, Dr. Joe Boot calls the church back to clarity, conviction, and courage—urging believers to develop an undivided heart through a mind renewed by the Word of God.
This is not a book of abstract theory or ivory-tower intellectualism. Drawing deeply from Scripture, philosophy, church history, and cultural criticism, Boot challenges the artificial divide between the sacred and the secular and reasserts the Lordship of Christ over all thought, culture, and creation.
"Boot skilfully reveals the diverse meaning of the Creative Word, the Law-Word, the Incarnate Word, the Redemptive Word, and the Word eternal for numerous aspects of life."
— Professor Danie Strauss
"Christians must learn to think in distinctively Christian ways about everything, not just about 'Christian things'... I know of few living thinkers who have addressed this problem as biblically, intelligently, and persuasively."
— Dr. P. Andrew Sandlin
Think Christianly is a bold and timely invitation to reform your mind—and, through it, reshape the world around you.
It’s time to think Christianly—about everything.

I’ve only just begun, but it seems like a sound and timely premise, of the same caliber and thoughtfulness as Dr. Boot’s The Mission of God, if not actually a somewhat easier read. I’m looking forward to getting further into it.
I typically really enjoy Dr. Boot's books, but I was disappointed by this one. I am in agreement with his thesis and argumentation, but much of the book consisted of redundancy, repetition, and wordy descriptions of topics that could have been explained much more simply and with more precision. Even as someone who is currently in academic studies I found he was hard to follow in many areas.
I have many notes in the book, and many highlights of good points, but the overall coherency of the writing is not something I'd reccomend to anyone who isn't used to academic writing.
I believe the message presented is incredibly important for every Christian and I'm an not giving a lower rating for that. My lower rating is simply based on the quality of the read, and formation of the argumentation.
I highly recommend reading Dr. Boot's Mission of God, or Ruler of Kings they are much more fulfilling to read.
Joe Boot, need I say more!
Dr. Joe Boot has become one of my most trusted Christian thinkers to go for sound, informed, insightful, and scholarly work on the Christian faith and world and life view. I believe his work will have tremendous impact for the Kingdom of Christ and the recovery of Christendom in Western Civilization if God's mercy and grace is to come revive hearts and minds of Christians to reform and redirect Christian action. I pray that many other Christians get their hands on this book and his tremendous work, The Mission of God. I believe these two works are incredibly transformational.
